About this role

Advanced Dermatologic Surgery, P. A. is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) with strong multitasking skills to join our fast-paced Skin Cancer Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center. This full-time position offers direct patient care in a Mohs surgery setting alongside a supportive, experienced team.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., occasional Fridays required.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after dermatologic and Mohs surgical procedures
  • Assess patients, obtain histories, and document accurately in our EMR system [eClinicalWorks]
  • Administer medications and local anesthetics per physician orders
  • Assist physicians during Mohs surgery and other procedures, maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
  • Provide patient education on wound care and post-procedure instructions
  • Support smooth clinic and surgery center flow as part of a collaborative team

What We're Looking For

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in Kansas
  • BLS certification
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a calm, professional manner with patients
  • A team player who thrives in a busy environment
