Elevate Mind & Mood is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled *Registered Nurse (RN)* (or higher credentials) to join our team and provide *IV ketamine therapy* for individuals struggling with anxiety, PTSD, depression, and some chronic pain conditions. This is a very part time job with a few hours a month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IV therapy, exceptional patient care skills, and a passion for mental wellness. This role is pivotal in creating a safe, supportive, and healing environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

● Administer *IV infusions* and monitor patients throughout their treatment sessions, ensuring safety and comfort.
● Conduct pre-treatment assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories and ensuring eligibility for therapy.
● Educate patients on what to expect during and after infusion therapy, answering any questions with clarity and compassion.
● Monitor *vital signs and patient responses* throughout the infusion process, intervening when necessary and reporting any concerns to the medical provider.
● Ensure compliance with all *clinical protocols, infection control procedures, and safety guidelines*.
● Maintain *accurate documentation* of treatments, patient responses, and any necessary follow-ups.
● Assist in *emergency response protocols* if a patient experiences an adverse reaction, including administering medications for the acute event.
● Provide *post-infusion care instructions* and support patient recovery post-session.
● Participate in *staff training* and ongoing education regarding best practices in infusion therapy and mental health treatment.
● Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and mental health professionals,
● Help create a *calming and supportive environment* for patients, understanding that many may be experiencing emotional distress.
