Maryville LPN IV Certified - Medical/Surgical

The LPN works under the supervision of leadership. The LPN works under the direction of the RN and/or Provider. Administers quality patient care according to established standards. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers. Completes daily reassessments for assigned patients and documents findings. Updates and implements the plan of care. Reinforces patient teaching and family education. Administers medications and monitors patients’ responses to medications including intravenous fluids and medications. Collaborates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team. Contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and others (students, orientees). Other duties as assigned Education Degree from an accredited school of practical nursing, or military equivalent. - Required Work Experience Licenses and Certifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - State Licensure - State Licensure/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location - Required Upon Hire IV Certification - IV certified upon hire - Required Upon Hire Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 Days Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - (Albany Specific) - Required within 90 Days Travel Requirements Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed. - Required Mosaic Life Care is a health care system in northwest Missouri.
