About this role

Department: 34406 Carolinas Medical Center - Nursing: 11T Enhanced Recovery After Surgery. Full time, benefits eligible, 36 hours per week. Schedule is three

  • 12 hour shifts a week with rotating weekends and rotating holidays. The Integrated Enhanced Recovery (ERAS) GI Center of Excellence provides specialized care to patients with diseases of the liver, biliary tract, pancreas and GI tract as well as surgical trauma care. The nursing department is a specialized unit caring for patients with varying levels of acuity from progressive care, telemetry, and medical surgical status. 11T is the country's first ERAS certified unit.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
