Part Time RN H&P Nurse | Greenwood County Detention Center

In this role, you will serve as the required RN on site and will be responsible for completing History & Physical (H&P) assessments for patients entering the facility. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys focused clinical work and wants to make a meaningful impact in correctional healthcare.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the required RN on site at the facility

• Complete History & Physical (H&P) assessments for new patients

• Perform nursing assessments and evaluate patient health needs

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status

• Communicate patient needs and clinical findings to healthcare providers

• Provide appropriate nursing interventions and follow-up care

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and facility staff

• Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations as needed

What We're Looking For

• Current and unrestricted RN license in South Carolina

• Current CPR certification

• Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

• Comfortable completing comprehensive patient assessments and H&Ps

• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
