Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Baptist Medical Center South | Jacksonville, FL Full-Time | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Baptist Medical Center South is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a full-time night-shift schedule. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting while supporting the healthcare needs of our growing Jacksonville community.
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients and their significant others/families. Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs.
Serve as a patient advocate while delivering compassionate care to individuals with a variety of medical, surgical, and emergency conditions, including chronic illnesses and minor injuries. Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments and supervise care provided by supportive personnel. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes and a high standard of care.
Required Certifications ACLS: Required within 6 months of hire for Adult Emergency Departments and Free-Standing Emergency Departments. PALS: Required within 1 year of hire for Free-Standing Emergency Departments. Join Our Team!
