About this role
SIGN ON BONUS: $20,000 (full time eligible new hires through July 31, 2026). SHIFT: 7 am to 7 pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday weekend package - time and a half pay rate. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families as directed by the medical staff.
The RN guides and supervises nursing personnel, collaborates with other healthcare professionals, and coordinates ancillary staff. Demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Provides care for patients in an 8-bed mixed intensive care unit.
Responsibilities include time management, patient observation and reporting, patient/family teaching and referrals, collaborative care planning, documentation, delivering high quality care utilizing the nursing process, holistic approach to care, delegation to healthcare team members, critical thinking in nursing interventions, medication administration, and age-specific teaching strategies.
