Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Sep 1, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 2 years of OR experience and WV or Compact RN licensure.

Details Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting Home base in the OR with possible floating to day surgery, endoscopy, PACU, and holding areas Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM 13-week assignment length Uses Cerner charting system Requirements Active WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for consideration Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Community hospital experience preferred Minimum of 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required Completion of non-billable modules required prior to start date (typically 2-6 hours) Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; those between 75-100 miles may be considered case-by-case at the same rate Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from their last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler Current employees of Vandalia Health System (including CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system Orientation is held every other Tuesday
