- Valid and current RN or LPN/LVN licensure in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience working in a school setting is a plus, but all clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Ability to respond swiftly and calmly in emergency situations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Flexibility to work as a substitute nurse and/or on offsite trips and camp assignments
What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care to students with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries during the school day and on field trips
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following specific care plans
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Educate students and staff on health and wellness practices
- Monitor overall health and safety during extracurricular activities and field excursions
- Collaborate with school staff, other nurses, and parents to support student needs
