About this role
Travel Behavioral Health RN position supporting adult psychiatric units at partner facilities. Provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric nursing care to adult patients experiencing acute mental health crises, substance abuse issues, or psychiatric disorders. Conducts psychiatric assessments, monitors mental status, manages medication administration, utilizes therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques, and responds to psychiatric emergencies.
Requires minimum 1-2 years recent acute care Psychiatric/Behavioral Health RN experience, ADN or BSN, active unencumbered RN license, AHA BLS certification, and flexibility to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of recent acute care Psychiatric / Behavioral Health RN experience. Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited school of nursing Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN License in the state of assignment (or valid Compact/NLC license) Certifications: Active AHA BLS certification Crisis Prevention / De-escalation training preferred (e.g., CPI, PMAB, or SAFE) Flexibility: Absolute willingness to work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed by the facility
