Registered Nurse (RN) – Mental & Behavioral Health, Pediatrics. Children's Mercy + Camber | Olathe, KS. Full Time and Part Time available, 7pm - 7am | Offers great differentials!

The Registered Nurse supports the overall health and safety of acute youth psychiatric patients through medication administration, health assessments, infection control, documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and consultation with direct care staff.
What you will do: Complete nursing assessments and documentation within required timelines. Perform ongoing assessments and monitor vital signs per policy. Administer medications, including psychotropic and PRN medications, and document accurately.
Monitor infection control, respond to injuries and emergencies, and provide first aid as needed. Communicate with physicians, guardians, and treatment teams regarding patient health. Maintain accurate documentation of all medical interventions, orders, and records.
Partner with the staff nutritionist to meet patient dietary needs.
