About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in Watertown, New York. This travel assignment offers a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The position requires a current NYS RN license, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Proficiency in using MEDITECH EMR is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have travel nursing experience, critical care expertise, and the ability to identify and respond to life-threatening situations promptly. Responsibilities include quality patient care, leadership, and effective problem-solving in high-stress scenarios.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, as well as IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy certifications obtained during orientation.
