How you’ll make an impact in this role

Act as a trusted advisor to our physicians and advanced practice providers, proactively connecting with them to clarify details and capture the full scope of patient care. Conduct thorough admission reviews and collaborate directly with our coding experts to ensure assigned codes perfectly reflect the patient’s real-time clinical status. Work hand-in-hand with the broader healthcare team to resolve documentation queries and address gaps before the patient is discharged.

Serve as an ongoing subject matter expert, coaching and educating our clinical teams on documentation best practices, coding nuances, and quality improvement opportunities. Maintain clear, accurate records of your review activities to validate the success and impact of our CDI initiatives, helping us continuously improve our processes.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

Minimum 1 year of NICU experience. CDI experience.
