Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in our Primary Care Clinic, where your expertise will directly impact patient health and well-being. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing education, and supporting overall health management across diverse populations. Duties

  • Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations to determine health status and identify urgent needs.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately while following aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Manage complex clinical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, suturing, and wound care, including ostomy and stoma management.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner to document medical records meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide education on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists in ophthalmology, cardiology, infectious disease care, geriatrics, behavioral health, and more to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Support patients with complex conditions such as long-term care residents or those requiring hospice & palliative medicine services by delivering compassionate nursing support.

Skills

  • Proven experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, and those in memory or dementia care settings.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Skilled in performing laboratory procedures like specimen collection/processing and phlebotomy with attention to infection control standards.
  • Experience managing acute pain and chronic conditions such as hypertension or diabetes within primary care or hospital environments.
  • Ability to perform advanced clinical skills including airway management, ventilator support, tube feeding administration, and critical care response procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and case management; capable of working under pressure in emergency medicine or trauma medicine settings.
  • Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation law related to occupational health cases; experience supporting patients through discharge planning or post-acute care is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 80.0 per week
