The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Watchung, NJ for the 26/27 school year ! This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.

Minimum requirements
- Active RN license valid in New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
- Current BLS CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:
- Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications
- Oxygen and airway management
- Medication administration
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment

What you'll do
- Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day
- Implement and monitor student health plans
- Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned
- Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership
- Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support
- Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements
