About this role

The Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee the nursing staff, coordinate clinical operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice. Primary Responsibilities and

Duties

Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, including licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other healthcare professionals. Collaborate with the Director of nursing to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate and oversee clinical operations, including resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and treatments.

Conduct regular rounds to assess resident care needs, monitor staff performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, providing guidance on clinical best practices, resident care techniques, and professional development opportunities. Participate in team meetings to discuss resident care plans, progress, and any changes in condition.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize resident outcomes and ensure continuity of care. Conduct staff evaluations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed, in collaboration with the Director of Nursing. Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff members.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to nursing practice, resident care, and facility operations. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and resident-centered care among nursing staff and throughout the facility. Handle resident and family concerns or complaints.
