*Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse (RN)* Location: Athens, GA Job Type: Full-Time Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends | No Call We are seeking an experienced Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a growing ambulatory surgery center in the Athens, GA area. This is a great opportunity for an RN looking to work in a fast-paced, collaborative ASC environment while enjoying a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. The center operates approximately 5 OR suites and provides a streamlined surgical environment focused on high-quality patient care and an excellent patient experience. *Responsibilities* * Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to surgical patients * Complete patient assessments, medication reconciliation, and pre-op preparation * Monitor patients during recovery and assess readiness for discharge * Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative needs * Provide patient and family education and discharge instructions * Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, OR nurses, and surgical techs * Maintain accurate and timely documentation * Follow ASC policies, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols *Qualifications* * Active Georgia RN license * Previous Pre-Op and/or PACU experience preferred * ASC or perioperative experience strongly preferred * Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment * BLS required; ACLS preferred *Why This Opportunity* * Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule * No weekends * No call * Approximately 5 OR suites * Ambulatory surgery center environment * Collaborative surgical team * Consistent schedule and predictable work-life balance * Opportunity to be part of a growing surgical program in the Athens area If you are an experienced Pre-Op/PACU RN looking for a stable Monday–Friday opportunity in an ASC setting, we would love to connect with you.
