Dispensing Nurse (RN) - (Weekend Shifts)

Schedule

*2-3 weekend shifts per month (Saturdays AND Sundays), 6:30 am - 10:30 am

*This position is a weekend shift only. Potentital weekday shifts depending on staffing levels and coverage needs.*

Established over 50 years ago, Project Reality partners with Salt Lake County and Utah State to deliver services that impact the underlying causes of chronic disease and improve community health outcomes. We are a fully integrated health clinic providing comprehensive substance use disorder, primary care, and mental health treatment for vulnerable populations not adequately served in traditional health care settings. Our health home model addresses critical health determinants through a team-based approach utilizing medical providers, therapists, case managers, and peer coaches.

*Scheduling:*

• Weekend Shifts 6:30 am - 10:30 am (hourly is 1.5x on weekends/holidays)
• Weekday shifts 5:30am - 1:30 pm (*IF scheduled due to staffing/coverage needs*)

Responsibilities

*

• Excellent Attendance is a MUST
• Administering medication (Methadone/Suboxone/Vivitrol)
• Delivering medication to patients at partner sites (company vehicle provided)
• Performing vitals, medical assessments, and blood draws when needed
• Coordination of care with interdisciplinary team and community partners
• Abiding by all HIPAA and CFR42 laws
• Providing a respectful, supportive and non-judgmental environment for patients
• Other duties as assigned by program supervisors

*Qualifications Required:*

• Active and Unblemished UT Registered Nurse License
• Ability to pass/maintain a BCI Clearance Check
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider card
• Works well in a team w/strong organizational and communication skills
• High level of professionalism
• Willingness to learn best practices of care
• Interest in working with vulnerable populations
• Basic Microsoft Office/Excel skills REQUIRED. G-Suite a plus
• If in recovery, must have at least 2+ years of continuous sobriety

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
