REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – Medical Surgical
Where You Will Work
14 West is a 31-bed High Reliability General Medicine Care unit. The unit is inclusive of 13 private, and 9 semi-private rooms. 14 West has a focus in Hospice Care, Adult Cystic Fibrosis, general medical/surgical diagnosis, and substance abuse. Typical patient population includes abdominal pain, pneumonia, infectious diseases, substance abuse, pain management, and chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The unit has one negative pressure isolation room. A multidisciplinary team approach to patient care is evident on the unit. In addition, 14 West staff promotes and practices according to relationship-based care model of nursing.
We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
