As our Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN), you will help a diverse patient population experiencing urgent medical needs to receive expert, compassionate, and timely care so they can recover and return to their optimal health as quickly and safely as possible. Every day you will work within a dynamic, multi-faceted, and team-oriented Emergency Department serving approximately 80,000 patients annually. You will be expected to collaborate closely with skilled physicians, management, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality trauma, stroke, and specialized care within various regional receiving specialties like ortho, high-risk maternity, NICU, and STEMI.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years recent experience in an Emergency department as a RN within the last five (5) years
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification - American Heart Association
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within six (6) months of hire
  • Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) within twenty four (24) months of hire
  • Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing
