About this role
We are looking for 2 Registered Nurses to care for our Dialysis Patients. We provide on the job training as well as three (3) day work weeks and Sundays off*. If in the future, the center is open 6 days a week, every other Saturday would be a requirement.
- Assessing patient's vital signs and talking with them to assess their condition
- Direct patient care, including learning the Dialysis Machines
- Overseeing the dialysis treatment from start to finish
- Teaching patients about their disease and its treatment and answering any questions
- Making sure patients are given the correct medications ordered by their doctor
- Evaluating patients reaction to the dialysis treatment and medications
- Reviewing patients lab work and home medications and letting the doctor know of any changes
- Documentation of patients care plans and assessments as per guidelines
- Have an RN License in New York State
- Have CPR Certification
- Have a strong work ethic, enjoy challenges and work well in a team-focused environment
- Computer skills helpful to learn the EMR system
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 36.0 per week
