Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)

Provide advanced emergency care including airway support, cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, procedural sedation support, and trauma/resuscitation participation. Interpret and respond to vital signs, labs, EKGs, and imaging results; communicate changes promptly to the provider team. Document assessments, interventions, and patient/family education accurately in the electronic health record.

Coordinate patient flow including admissions, transfers, and discharges; ensure clear discharge instructions and follow-up. Maintain infection prevention practices, safety checks, and compliance with regulatory and departmental standards. Required Qualifications Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon (or ability to obtain prior to start).

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred). Current BLS (AHA) required. ACLS required within designated timeframe (preferred upon hire).

PALS and TNCC (or ENPC) required within designated timeframe (preferred upon hire). Minimum 1 year of acute care or Emergency Department RN experience preferred; new graduates may be considered with appropriate clinical preparation and residency participation. Strong critical thinking, de-escalation skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Ability to lift/transfer patients and perform repetitive standing/walking; must meet physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. Schedule & Environment
