About the Role
High Point Residence Pinckneyville is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. In this part-time position, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality, person-centered care while supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. Working under the direction of the Wellness Director, you will collaborate with fellow team members to deliver exceptional clinical care in a supportive living environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents while working as part of a collaborative and compassionate care team.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide daily nursing care and clinical services in accordance with individualized care plans.
Perform resident assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly report changes in condition.
Administer medications accurately and maintain complete and timely documentation.
Collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and interdisciplinary team members to support resident care.
Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to direct care staff.
Promote a safe, positive, and resident-centered environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Wellness Director.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing.
Current CPR certification.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience administering medications and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in supportive living, assisted living, senior living, skilled nursing, or long-term care.
Experience working with older adults and individuals with varying healthcare needs.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist residents with mobility and activities of daily living as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the community during scheduled shifts.
