Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. Major responsibilities include utilizing the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge, performing patient assessment/reassessment, developing and coordinating individual plan of care including discharge planning, directing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating nursing care, delegating appropriately, and documenting patient care according to standard procedure.
Requirements
Current Massachusetts licensure and registration
Completion of an accredited school of nursing program
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing
