About this role
Neuro/Medical is a 36-bed Neuro medical and Intermediate Care nursing unit. Care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients and standard acute neuro patients including lower to high acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients, patients post thrombolytic treatment, patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring, patients with neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS, patients with hemodynamic instability, chest tube care and management, epidural/PCA management, and tracheostomy care.
