Description
- Seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- This contract position is located in Philadelphia, PA and is ideal for both newly licensed nurses and experienced professionals eager to grow in a mission-driven field.
Requirements
- Perform initial nursing assessments within 24 hours of client admission
- Arrange medical appointments and health screenings
- Administer and supervise medication per regulations
- Maintain accurate medical records and inventory
- Counsel clients on nutrition, health care, and symptom management
- Implement infection control policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing
- Active RN license in good standing
- Current CPR Certification
- New graduates and newly licensed nurses encouraged to apply
- RN I: New graduate or up to 1 year of experience
- RN II: 2-5 years of nursing experience, 1 year in addictions/mental health preferred
- RN III: 5 years of nursing experience, 2 years in addictions/mental health preferred
