Nurse

What You'll Do

• Provide overnight nursing care and monitoring for clients in Residential Treatment and Social Detox

• Perform admission history and physical assessments for incoming clients

• Administer medications, including psychotropic medications, per physician orders

• Monitor withdrawal symptoms and intervene according to detox protocols

• Respond to medical emergencies and determine when a higher level of care is needed

• Document client care, progress notes, and shift reports in the medical record

• Communicate and coordinate care with the Director of Nursing and the broader treatment team

• Support and train direct care staff on medical policies during overnight hours

• Help ensure infection control, medication management, and safety policies are followed

What We're Looking For

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Experience in substance abuse nursing, detox, psychiatric, or emergency/triage nursing preferred

• Comfortable working independently overnight in a residential treatment setting

• Strong clinical judgment and crisis-response skills

• Able to work a rotating schedule of three 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) per week

• Must be able to pass a background check
