About this role
The Specialty Care Services Specialty Clinic Nurse is a professional nurse who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients and families in an outpatient specialty care clinic setting. Includes six Board Certified Pediatric Nephrologist, 1 Board Certified Pediatric Hepatologist, 9 Board Certified Infectious Disease Physicians. Specialty services provided include renal and liver transplant, nephrotic syndrome, hematuria, ESRD and Post Covid Care.
Academic Fellows, Residents, and Certified Nurse Practitioners also provide care in this area under the supervision of the attending MD. Multidisciplinary services include surgical, medical, pharmacy, nutrition, financial coordinator and psycho-social team. Work

4 Days a week - 8:00a to 4:30p and/or 7:00a to 3:30p, Day Shift, Monday-Friday.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse AL Single State or NLC Multi State License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing with 1 year experience
- 1 year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in Nursing Outpatient
- Outpatient clinic experience
- Experience working with individuals with chronic illnesses
- Nephrology experience
- Patient treatment planning
