About this role
This position is located within the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit. The incumbent provides comprehensive, high-acuity nursing care to patients across the life span, exercising expert clinical judgement in rapidly changing and complex situations. The position reports to the Supervisory Nurse. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C. F. R. 37.5 (2021).

Performs emergency and resuscitative procedures. Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Provides patient and family education.

At the GS-9 and above grade level, many positions may require experience in a specialty area of nursing.
