Job Summary: As the Infection Control Nurse, you will oversee and implement infection prevention and control practices within our facility. Provide regular updates based on the latest healthcare guidelines. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor the facility's adherence to infection control standards and regulatory requirements. Work closely with the nursing team and other departments to ensure full compliance. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report infection data. Recommend changes or improvements to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections. Policy Development: Update and maintain infection control policies and procedures to reflect the latest industry standards. Ensure all staff are informed of changes promptly. Qualifications: Education: Must possess a current RN license in the state of Connecticut. Experience: Experience in infection prevention and control within a healthcare facility is highly preferred. Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills; proficiency in infection control best practices.
