Overview
We are seeking a strong, dedicated Registered Nurse Manager to oversee our nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in a variety of medical areas and demonstrate strong leadership skills. *Rate of pay dependent upon the years of verifiable experience working as an RN Supervisor in a Skilled Nursing Facility [SNF]. Must be proficient in Point Click Care.*
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure provision of the highest, patient-centered care possible.
- Responsible for admissions, initial MD order confirmation and care plans, initial body check / assessment, Resident discharge, Administration of IV's, leadership of staff during provision of routine care and upon any sudden changes in Resident's condition
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to optimize care delivery
- Provide direct patient care as needed
- Utilize medical documentation systems effectively
- Oversee diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans
Requirements
- Active CA RN License in good standing required
- Minimum of 3 years of Skilled Nursing Facility RN Supervisor experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding and documentation practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Experience as a RN Supervisor in nursing home or long-term care settings is required
