About this role

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN with a passion for obstetrics, neonatal, and emergency care to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing services during night shifts. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to deliver comprehensive care to diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, and women during childbirth and postpartum phases. Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
  • Current Texas or compact RN licensure
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Proficiency in medication administration (including IVs and blood products)
  • Basic nursing skills such as vital signs, assessments, specimen collection, dressing changes, NG tube management, urinary catheterization, and basic oxygen therapy
  • Ability to respond swiftly to life-threatening situations
  • Strong documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills

Nice to Have

Skills

  • Experience in obstetrics, postpartum, neonatal, or emergency nursing
  • Experience with Meditech and CPN systems
  • Certification in TNCC and FHM

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Basic healthcare provider certifications (BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP)
  • Prior direct experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, neonatal care, or ER environment
  • At least one year of professional nursing experience in relevant specialties preferred

Other

Requirements

  • Night shift availability (6pm-6am), 36 hours per week with guaranteed hours
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Must hold current CPR, ACLS, NRP, and FHM certifications
  • Occasional overtime available
  • Preferably with experience in Meditech and CPN

Pay: $2,254.00 per week
