This position provides direct patient care in the NICU Neonatal Care unit, utilizing advanced nursing practices within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes. It involves prioritizing patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practice, while mentoring new staff and contributing to a secure clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-level nursing care based on the nursing process and standards.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Support ongoing education and competency validation for clinical staff.
  • Adhere to practice standards such as AWHONN and AACN guidelines, including certifications like RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN.
  • Maintain safety and quality at the point of care.
