About this role
The RN MAT Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for the delivery of medication assisted treatment services within assigned facilities. This role coordinates the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the MAT program in collaboration with an integrated healthcare and custody team. The position directs clinical services, supports staff education and training, and ensures coordinated care delivery for patients receiving MAT.
The RN MAT Coordinator also conducts assessments, supports screenings and referrals, and helps ensure continuity of treatment services. This role plays a central part in maintaining effective collaboration across medical, behavioral health, and security teams.

Requirements
- RN
- Minimum of Independent Licensure with a Master's Degree in clinical/counseling psychology or social work from an accredited college or university OR graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment
- Other substance abuse certification desirable though not required
- Experience in the coordination and administration of behavioral health or medical service delivery systems
- Knowledge and/or interest in integrated behavioral health/medical programming within a multidisciplinary framework
- Professional experience in behavioral health or medical field with knowledge of management and supervision techniques, peer review, data collection and quality assurance
- Experience successfully navigating a correctional healthcare setting
- Related certification may be applicable based on specific state requirements
