About this role
Golden Plains Community Hospital is currently seeking 2 full-time Triage RNs to work in our Emergency Room Department. Competitive wages, excellent benefits, sign-on bonus, and relocation (if out of the area). Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9 pm - 9am for one position and the other position is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am- 7 pm. Hours and dates are subject to change.
Position
Summary
Under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, the Registered Nurse - Triage provides indirect professional nursing care to patients ages 0 to over 100 in accordance with established Corporate and departmental policies and procedures and state and federal laws to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care. Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.
Qualifications
The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:
Education and formal training
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Currently registered in the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- ENPC and CEN preferred
Work
experience
Less than one month ( must complete Preceptorship program as determined by Nursing Education). One or more years of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
