Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Location: Tampa, FL Pay rate: $30/hr. Assignment duration: 10 months with possible extension Schedule: Full-time, approximately 32 - 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday Overview Provide skilled nursing care to students in a school setting based on individualized healthcare plans. Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, rectal, and gastric tube routes as prescribed. Perform specialized nursing procedures, including nebulizer and inhaler treatments, tracheostomy care, oral and tracheal suctioning, oxygen administration, catheterization, gastric tube feedings, G-tube care, and dressing changes. Monitor and manage students with chronic and acute medical conditions, including seizure disorders and diabetes, while responding promptly to medical emergencies using CPR/AED and First Aid. Assess students' health status, document care provided, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with school staff, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective student care. Qualifications Active LPN license in Florida or compact license Bilingual/Spanish preferred, but not required Current BLS/CPR certification Prior school-based nursing experience or Pediatric experience is strongly preferred #Workwolf
