Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Salary: $38.50 - $55.02 per hour
How you'll make an impact in this role
Deliver care for post-operative and post-procedural patients during the immediate recovery phase. Adhere to AORN and ASPAN standards for aseptic technique and perianesthesia practice. Continuously evaluate, document, and report patient responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions. Act as a patient advocate by assessing, monitoring, and aggressively managing post-operative pain and sedation levels. Anticipate patient needs and potential complications by understanding the specific nuances of each procedure.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Certified BLS Provider specializing in Health Service Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Or military CPR-First Aid training. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing at date of hire required.
