Our Critical Care unit is a 24 bed ICU/Intermediate care unit. Our multidisciplinary team of providers, nurses and respiratory therapists work together to provide our patients with exceptional care in a great team environment. Our spacious and modern unit allows our teams to perform at the highest level while providing our patients with a healing environment.

Minimum

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut
  • Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs of patients and to perform nursing care in a safe, caring manner

Preferred

Qualifications

  • One year of acute care nursing experience (step down or ICU preferred)
  • Telemetry experience
  • BSN or ADN/ASN and actively enrolled in a BSN program
  • Certification in PCCN or CCRN encouraged
  • Epic experience
  • ACLS (will be required upon completion of orientation)
