Nurse (RN/LPN) - Extended Care - PRN Glendive Medical Center | Glendive, MT | PRN (As Needed) | Flexible Scheduling RN Starting Wage: $31.63+/hour (based on experience) + PRN Differential LPN Starting Wage : $26.14+/hour (based on experience and internal equity) + PRN Differential Flexible Nursing Schedule. Meaningful Resident Connections. Glendive Medical Center is looking for licensed nurses to support our Extended Care Department on a PRN basis. This position offers scheduling flexibility while providing the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting. As a PRN nurse, you'll become part of a team dedicated to promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life for those we serve. Position Responsibilities In this role, you will: • Provide professional nursing care tailored to individual resident needs • Evaluate resident conditions and communicate changes to providers and care team members • Administer medications, treatments, and other prescribed interventions • Assist with developing, updating, and implementing resident care plans • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members • Support and mentor nursing assistants and other direct care staff • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation • Promote a safe environment by following infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards • LPNs practice under the supervision of an RN Qualifications Required • Current Montana RN or LPN license, or applicable Compact license • Current BLS certification • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities effectively Preferred • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing • Experience working with electronic medical records PRN Commitment To remain active in PRN status, team members are expected to: • Work a minimum of one shift every three months • Maintain required licensure and certifications • Participate in additional shifts as available and mutually agreed upon Benefits Eligible after 30 days: • 401(k) with employer match Why Choose PRN at GMC? • Greater flexibility and work-life balance • Opportunity to maintain and enhance clinical skills • Exposure to multiple areas of patient care • Supportive team environment focused on collaboration • Eligibility for retirement and profit-sharing programs About Glendive Medical Center Glendive Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare close to home.
