About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) within our Health Care Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. You will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes recovery and well-being.

Collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, you will contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment. Ultimately, your work will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care provided by our organization.

Salary will commensurate with education and experience.

Positions are available in Primary Care and Cardiology.

Minimum

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable jurisdiction. Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated clinical experience in a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

Advanced certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Cardiology personnel Basic knowledge of patient confidentiality. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities (may include but not limited to)

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Triage patients, obtain vital signs, reconcile medications and allergies; and document changes in condition accurately and timely. Maintain equipment sterilization and keep exam room properly stocked with supplies.

Assist with inventory and order supplies. Assist the provider with in-office procedures or exams. Triage clinical messages, manage prescription renewal requests, obtain prior authorization for ordered medications Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions. May be required to cover other providers and float to other locations when needed.

The required skills enable you to perform thorough patient assessments, administer treatments safely, and document care accurately, ensuring high standards of clinical practice. Your ability to communicate effectively supports patient education and fosters collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, which is essential for coordinated care delivery. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are applied daily to respond to changing patient conditions and emergencies. Preferred skills such as proficiency with electronic health records streamline documentation and improve information sharing.

General office hours are Monday-Friday with hours 7am to 5pm (varies by office). Position is full-time.
