*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions and Utilization Review Coordinator to join our Haven of Hope Eating Disorder Care team. The hours of this job are Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm CST. In this vital role, you will oversee the coordination of patient admissions, conduct comprehensive utilization reviews, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Your expertise will help optimize patient care delivery, streamline medical documentation, and support clinical decision-making processes.   • *Admissions*
  • Closely monitor all prospective client inquiries from all sources, including telephone, web-inquiry, internal, professional referral
  • Schedule and complete all pending client assessments for Haven of Hope in a timely manner, typically within 48 hours of initial client inquiry/contact
  • Send a clinical summary of the assessment to the executive clinical director
  • Provide LOC recommendation & next steps to the potential client once received
  • Take the initiative to compel other colleagues to move expeditiously on admissions process and decision
  • Initiate admissions process through pro-active communications with Business Department
  • Develop rapport with client and provide accurate and timely information to facilitate a smooth admission into treatment
  • Create new client chart in KIPU and upload all required information
  • Complete the initial treatment plan for each completed assessment at Haven of Hope
  • Answer inquiry emails and phone calls
  • Update the admissions tracker daily
  • Coordinate with the Care Coordinator for all pending admissions details
  • Communicate financial responsibilities of the program to clients/families per results of the verification of insurance benefits.
  • Provide tours of the facilities to potential clients upon request
  • *Utilization Review*
  • Complete assigned insurance reviews
  • Update the weekly UR email with outcomes of review once complete
  • Ensure the UR calendar is current and add the review to the reviewer’s calendar. This calendar includes the client’s insurance ID#, previous authorization number and the insurance reviewer’s information
  • Transfer authorization data from the reviewer into KIPU to ensure the most accurate information is available for billing purposes
  • Communicate between intake, billing and clinical departments to ensure client funding is obtained from insurance
  • Review clinical charts & consult with clinical team as needed to prepare for utilization review
  • Attending weekly staff meetings if requested
  • *General*
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed for the successful launch, management, and operations of all Haven of Hope lines of business and service

*Qualifications*

  • Master’s degree in counseling or social work from an accredited program
  • LPC Licensure in Tennessee
  • 2 or more years in admissions preferred

*Working Conditions*

Residential treatment services are 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Employees can expect to work on nights, weekends and holidays depending upon specific job role.

Haven of Hope clients can be expected to have a severe trauma history, complicated by co-occurring conditions such as chemical dependency, dissociative disorders, severe PTSD and other emotional and behavioral disorders. Prospective employees with a history of eating disorders, trauma or related conditions are advised to strongly consider the appropriateness of this work environment on personal mental health condition. All HOH prospective and current employees are advised to seek treatment from a qualified medical or behavioral health professional in the event of a history of mental illness.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
