About this role

Part-Time LPN – ID/DD Group Home

Day Shift | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

We are currently hiring dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our pediatric group home nursing team.

This is a part-time position working 1–2 twelve-hour shifts per week. It is ideal for an LPN looking for consistent part-time hours without the commitment of a full-time schedule. Opportunity for more hours when available.

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Minimum of 1 shift per week required

Variable scheduling based on staff availability and facility needs

Rotating weekend requirement, approximately one weekend shift per month

Opportunities to pick up additional shifts when available

Pay

$33.00–$35.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Position Responsibilities

The LPN provides nursing care and oversight to pediatric/young adult residents with developmental and/or medical needs in a group home setting.

Responsibilities include

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and the resident's plan of care

Complete required nursing documentation accurately and timely

Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns appropriately

Provide and/or oversee care related to residents' individual medical needs

Communicate with caregivers, nursing staff, supervisors, providers, and other members of the care team as appropriate

Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents

Provide guidance and support to direct-care staff regarding resident care needs

Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and emergencies

Complete shift-to-shift communication and ensure important information is reported to incoming staff

Follow agency policies, resident care plans, medication procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Florida LPN license

Current CPR certification

Ability to work independently and use sound nursing judgment

Dependable attendance and ability to fulfill scheduled shift commitments

Strong documentation and communication skills

Comfortable working with pediatric/young adult residents with developmental disabilities

Must successfully complete all required background screening and pre-employment requirements

Pediatric, developmental disability, group home, home health, private duty nursing, or similar experience is preferred but not required.
