*Key Responsibilities*
- Anticipates/prepares equipment or supplies needed for each visit. Accurately prepares patient chart for provider, including reason for visit and updated treatment plan;
- Works as a team with other staff members to assist with other duties as needed.
- Performs specimen collection as needed, with attention to safety and sterility; ensures accurate labeling of all collected specimens via patient verbal confirmation and chart verification;
- Assists provider with medical and surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols such as specimen collection, hysterosalpingogram, saline infusion sonogram, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and intrauterine insemination;
- May perform transvaginal sonograms, intrauterine inseminations, and pap smears as needed per physician order;
- May perform early OB transvaginal sonograms and accurately documents in patient’s electronic medical record for physician review;
- Prioritizes and responds to patient and provider needs to expedite visits and maintain flow of patients;
- Provides direct patient interaction and coordination of infertility testing and treatment plans, including IVF and IUI cycles, between patients and physicians;
- Provides telephone triage patient calls regarding: medications, treatment plans, and test results;
- Maintains patient charting in Electronic Medical Record (EMR);
- Provides patient education and counseling on treatment protocols, mediations, and infertility procedures;
- Responsible for accurate and timely communication of physician orders, instructions, and lab results to patients;
- Delivers pre-and post-op care of patients having procedures (i.e., egg retrieval, embryo transfer, hysteroscopy);
- Must be willing to occasionally cover absences or attend meetings at Blue Sky Fertility satellite locations as needed.

- Minimum (2) years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting required
- Preferred (1) year experience in Women's Health, Labor & Delivery or Infertility.

- Starting pay rate is competitive and is based on experience.
