Summary

Provides mental health assessments, medication management, and therapeutic support in inpatient or outpatient behavioral health settings.

Key

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluate risk factors. Administer and monitor psychiatric medications. Provide individual therapy and crisis intervention. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists. Maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

RN license in state of assignment. Compact License AllowedMust have taxable address outside of 90 miles from facility BLS, ACLS and MOAB required.

Experience in Psych/Behavioral Health; Experience with mental health patients preferred. Psychiatric nursing certification may be required.

Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.

Will work every 3rd weekend Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).

Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
