About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team in East Point, Georgia. The NP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the lifespan, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in accordance with Georgia state regulations.

Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and obtain detailed patient histories.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
Prescribe medications in accordance with Georgia Board of Nursing and supervising physician protocols.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, preventive care, and treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
Qualifications
Education
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program.
Licensure
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Georgia.
Experience
1-3 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads may be considered depending on setting).

Familiarity with EMR systems (ECW)
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
