The Assistant Director of Nurses - LVN/RN plays a critical leadership role within the healthcare team at Forum Parkway, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients. This position supports the Director of Nursing by overseeing daily nursing operations, coordinating staff activities, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The role involves direct supervision and mentorship of Licensed Vocational Nurses and other nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Requirements
Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN or RN license in the state of Texas
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a nursing team
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards
Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare documentation systems
BLS Certification (preferred)
ACLS Certification (preferred)
Experience in a leadership role within a long-term care or rehabilitation facility (preferred)
