American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (Progressive Care Stepdown) position requiring 2 years of recent acute experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Progressive Care Stepdown/Transitional unit within a Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
30-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF
Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
Uses Medhost EHR
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Every other weekend required
On-call responsibilities required
Floating to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units required, including ED holds for admitted patients
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
AHA certifications required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Provide intermediate/progressive care level nursing to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical conditions
Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering access to outdoor recreation, mountain and lake scenery, and proximity to major cities including Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon
Weekly orientation provided
Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
