Position Overview

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room (ER). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering critical and emergency care services.

  • Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
  • Manage patients requiring advanced respiratory support, including BiPAP/CPAP
  • Provide care for ventilated patients and assist with airway management
  • Perform central line care and maintenance
  • Monitor neurological status and respond to changes promptly
  • Utilize cardiac monitoring and respond to emergency situations
  • Adhere to infection control protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE use
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Experience

Recent ER experience required Experience in high-acuity or trauma settings preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Licensure & Certifications (Required)

  • Active RN License (State of Texas or compact license)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
