As a Home Health Aide, you will provide non-medical assistance to clients in their homes, which may include:

  • Personal hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting)
  • Mobility and transfer assistance
  • Meal preparation and feeding assistance
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Medication reminders
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition to the office

*Qualifications*

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must meet Texas Home Health Aide qualification requirements, including one of the following:

o A minimum of one year of full-time experience providing direct client care in a hospital or nursing facility; or

o One year of full-time experience within the last five years providing direct client care in a home care, home health, or agency setting.

  • Qualifying work experience must be documented on the employment application and verified through professional reference checks.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to client homes.
  • Must successfully pass required background screening.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrates commitment to providing exceptional client care.
  • Pay may vary based on experience, availability, and client assignment
