About this role
Join a highly specialized women’s health team where no two days are the same and your expertise directly supports mothers and babies during critical moments of care. As an OB-GYN ED RN, you’ll provide expert assessment and treatment for patients presenting to the OB-GYN Emergency Department, while also supporting a range of scheduled obstetric and gynecologic procedures.
This role blends emergency-level responsiveness with perioperative and procedural nursing, offering a dynamic environment where clinical judgment, collaboration, and compassionate care are essential. - Assist with and support procedures such as external cephalic versions, non-stress tests (NSTs), and cervical cerclage placement or removal.
- Collaborate closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, surgical teams, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe, coordinated care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond rapidly to changes in condition using strong clinical judgment.
- Provide patient and family education throughout emergent and procedural care experiences.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time.
